KAŞ REHBERİNDE YER ALMAK İÇİN HEMEN BİZE ULAŞIN!

After settling in Kaş, we quickly realized that this place is much more than just stunning beaches like İnceboğaz or Büyük Çakıl. The vibrant center we walk through every day is actually the ancient city of Antiphellos—a vital port and trade hub of the Lycian Civilization.

The Highlights of the City Center

  1. Kaş Ancient Theater: The Queen of Sunsets The most impressive structure is undoubtedly the Antiphellos Theater.
  • Unique View: This Hellenistic theater is famous for being the only one in Anatolia built facing the sea. Our favorite ritual is sitting on the 26 rows of stone seats, watching the sun dip behind Meis Island.
  • Pro Tip: Entrance is free. We recommend going at sunset with your favorite drink; often, local street musicians provide a magical soundtrack to the view.
  1. The King’s Tomb (Lion Sarcophagus) Standing right in the middle of the bustling Uzun Çarşı (Long Bazaar), this 4th-century BC sarcophagus is the symbol of Kaş. With its Gothic-style lid and lion-head motifs, it’s the most photographed spot in town.
