We recently had the pleasure of dining at Blue House Restaurant, and from the very first step, it felt different from many other restaurants in Kaş. From the outside, you are welcomed by a charming bay-window balcony and one of Kaş’s most photographed blue doors. The real surprise, however, begins the moment you step inside. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, beautifully decorated with antique objects and thoughtfully chosen details in every corner.
Most of the appetizers are prepared using her own recipes, the daily catch is carefully selected, and every ingredient entering the kitchen reflects Mrs. Fazilet’s meticulous standards. Perhaps that’s why dining at Blue House feels less like eating in a restaurant and more like being invited to the table of someone who truly loves cooking. Everything is prepared with exceptional care, following a boutique philosophy that has made Blue House one of the most distinctive restaurants in Kaş.
Another highlight of Blue House is undoubtedly its terrace. With only a handful of tables, this cozy balcony offers beautiful views overlooking Kaş Harbor and the Greek island of Kastellorizo (Meis). As sunset approaches and the sky turns shades of orange and gold, the atmosphere becomes even more magical.
Instead of loud music or crowded seating areas, you’ll enjoy the gentle sound of conversations, the refreshing Mediterranean breeze, and the inviting aromas drifting up from the kitchen. In our opinion, what makes Blue House truly special is not only its beautiful view but also the relaxed pace of the evening. Here, there’s no need to rush—you can simply enjoy the moment and feel like a welcomed guest.
