If you want to enjoy the Mediterranean without being scorched by the sun, head straight to the Municipality Public Beach. Unlike the narrow boutique coves typical of Kaş, this beach offers a spacious, breathable atmosphere that we absolutely love.
Why It’s Our Top Choice:
- Natural Shade & Green Lawns: While most beaches trap you under a small umbrella, here you can spread your towel on the lush grass under massive trees. Reading a book in the natural shade after a swim is priceless.
- The “Aquarium” Sea: You can enter the water via the pebble shore or make a “cool” jump from the platforms. The water is that signature Kaş crystal clarity!
- Budget-Friendly Facilities: The municipal cafe and restaurant are well-maintained and offer a wide range of food, from breakfast to evening snacks, at much more reasonable prices than the town center.
- Women’s Beach: The facility also includes a separate section dedicated as a women-only beach, which is a preferred feature for many visitors.
Practical Info (2026 Season):
- Pricing: In 2025, umbrellas and sunbeds were 150 TL each. New 2026 prices are yet to be announced.
- Access: Located on the Çukurbağ Peninsula, just 50m past İnceboğaz Beach. It has a large parking lot (no parking stress!) and can be reached by minibuses departing every 30 minutes from the center.
