Since we moved to Kaş, this has been our go-to spot on the hottest days. Küçük Çakıl (Little Pebble) is a tiny, 7-8 meter wide cove that holds a very special place in the heart of the town. If you’ve just finished shopping in the bazaar and want to dive into the sea without getting into a car, this is your paradise.
What Makes It Unique?
- The “Cold Water” Surprise: The legendary status of this beach comes from the freshwater springs rising from beneath the sea. When you first jump in, the icy chill might shock you, but in the scorching July heat, it acts as a natural air conditioner. It’s addictive and instantly revitalizing!
- Ultimate Convenience: Located just a 5-minute walk from the center, it’s the most practical beach in town. You can shop, have a coffee, and be in the water minutes later.
- Cozy Atmosphere: Nestled between two boutique beach clubs (Çınarlar and Derya), it offers a small but serene environment.
Pro Tip: The seafloor consists of small pebbles. While the water is incredibly clear, we recommend wearing water shoes for a more comfortable entry.
