Acısu Public Beach is a place where nature and that famous Kaş coolness take center stage, far from the flashiness of paid beach clubs. If you don’t want to travel far today but crave that ice-cold water, this is your spot! It’s our favorite place for a quick morning dip.
Why Should You Choose Acısu Beach?
- Icy Spring Water: Just like at Big Pebble Beach, there are freshwater springs rising from the seabed here. You can see the “shimmer” where the cold spring water meets the warm sea. It’s a perfect “shock effect” that refreshes you instantly in the July heat.
- Central Location: Ideal for those who want to swim without leaving the center. It’s just a short, pleasant walk towards the Marina.
- Quiet & Local Vibe: Generally preferred by Kaş locals and residents. It offers a more modest and peaceful atmosphere compared to other tourist-heavy spots.
- Budget-Friendly: There is a small municipal kiosk where you can buy snacks and drinks. Please note that the municipality does not provide sunbed or umbrella rentals here; it’s a “bring your own towel” kind of place!
